Social media avatars are graphics or images that represent a user on their social media profile(s). The use of a branded avatar can help social media users instantly recognize your official university account.

How Do I Get My TXST Avatar?
Avatar designs are available via Canto. If you found an avatar for your social media account, but the name is not correct, please complete this form.
All social media accounts created to represent Texas State University and any of its divisions, units, colleges, departments, programs, offices, or centers must utilize the branded social media avatar. Exceptions can be made for select accounts with unique, previously approved, logos.

Avatar Guidelines
Follow these guidelines to ensure consistency with the TXST brand:
Do:
- Use the avatar to clearly identify your college, school, or department and connection to TXST
Don't:
- Do NOT use these image files for anything other than social media avatars
- Do not alter your pre-made avatar
- The University Seal CANNOT be used as a social avatar
- The SuperCat logo CANNOT be used as a social avatar without Athletics approval
Social Cover Photos
Your cover photo (also known as header photo) is the image that is displayed at the top of your profile on Facebook or X/Twitter. The cover photo is a wonderful opportunity to highlight Texas State’s unique identity, and so we have curated a number of options for your use.
