Our Teams
17 men's and women's teams compete at the NCAA Division I level. On July 1, 2026, TXST will join the Pac-12 Conference.
TXST was a member of the Sun Belt Conference from 2013 to June 2026.

SBC Bubas Cup Wins
Since 2018, Texas State won four Vic Bubas Cups, which is presented annually to the league's top athletics department.
Conference and National Championships
During its time in the Sun Belt Conference, TXST teams won more than 30 regular season and tournament championships.
In 2025-26, the Bobcats captured five Sun Belt Conference championships, including:
- women's outdoor track and field
- men's outdoor track and field
- women's indoor track and field
- men's indoor track and field
- women's soccer (Tournament Championship)
